Hello! I am Taylor McWhorter, a Los Angeles based Professional Photographer and Videographer with 6+ years of experience of filming/editing/storytelling.

I started playing around with videography back in elementary school for fun. I was utterly passionate about finding different ways to tell a story through photos or video, but ultimately wanted to grow up to be a film actor. I moved to LA in 2015 to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts… After receiving an Associates Degree in acting, my life as a working actor had begun. I soon realized that acting was not what I thought it would be like. I then decided to take a break from being in front of the camera and moved behind the camera. That’s when the magic truly began. I started off making personal short films, concept video’s, shooting skits for friends, etc… soon to find myself shooting music videos for my roommate and campaign videos for fashion, etc. I was Starting out with smaller projects to slowly find myself doing bigger projects with bigger stars. Now I have worked with Jacob Collier, Tom Sadoval, Gigi Goode and The House of Avalon, Kyle Chan, Michael Ngo, Trixie Mattel and so much more.

I am a very open person when it comes to my work. Getting to know my client on a personal level is an important component to working with me. As that helps me put a little bit of your heart into the project as well as a little bit of mine.

A lot of my inspiration comes from being in the moment. Seeing what is going on right now and capturing that moment forever.

I also strive for a completely comfortable working environment. I want to make sure that you feel authentically yourself and feel you are in a safe space.
